Dr. Greg Thistle

[B.Sc., DDS]

Greg grew up on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia and spent all of his university years at Dalhousie here in Halifax. With over 25 years of practice, Dr. Thistle has taken advanced training in laser dentistry, smile enhancements, orthodontics, dental implants, and jaw problems. This allows him to offer a broad scope of quality dentistry to his patients. He takes pride in helping people and taking an individualized approach to their oral health care needs, allowing them to feel and look their best.

Greg’s interests include hockey, golf, and spending time with his wife and their four children.

Charlene

Office Administrator

Originally from Cape Breton, Charlene has lived and worked in the Halifax area for the past 36 years. With many years of experience working in reception in the dental field, she appreciates the opportunity to meet and communicate with a variety of wonderful people every day. Charlene is happy to be part of such a unique office and to work with such talented and caring people.

In her spare time, Charlene enjoys reading, shopping, and travelling to Cape Breton as much as she can to spend time with her two grandchildren.

Heather

Dental Hygienist [RHD]

Originally from New Brunswick, Heather has lived and worked in Halifax for the past 23 years. She completed her Dental Hygiene diploma in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC, after attending Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. As Heather’s family grew to six, she took a seven-year hiatus from her career to be with her children. She returned to work part-time in 2018. Through her role as a Hygienist, she helps to educate people about their specific oral hygiene issues and needs. Heather’s favourite part of her job is simply meeting and working with so many interesting clients, many of whom she considers to be her friends.

In her not-so-spare time, Heather can be found escorting her children to soccer, gymnastics, archery, and music lessons. She enjoys spending time with neighbourhood families around the campfire or planning activities amongst the group. Heather also loves gardening and cooking new dishes.
